A low hum leaves Sunjata’s throat in quiet agreement. He had too many scars now, too fucked up from almost everything in Caido nowadays. Add in the one likely to take place from Remi’s taloned feet. But he ducks beneath the rope to grab a bandage to wrap around his midsection to keep the bleeding under control, a quick wash of hands as well, before he’s returning to Remi and sitting in the sand beside the man — glasses back in hand to pour more for himself and the Alchemist.
His gaze lifts as he mentions the penalty of death. And well, honestly, it makes sense, but at the same time it might be more difficult to do than it seems. So he huffs out a sigh, a wry smile at the mimicked answer from Remi in an attempt to copy Loren’s voice. “He can’t swim.” He shrugs easily to that, some sort of bad joke added on there. But then he takes a deep inhale and looks to Remi with all the seriousness he can muster with the stinging pain of his stomach.
“And what about Halo, then?” He comments. “He’s got a position in the government. Is a possible war fallout from that something you wish to have?” A long term thought, that perhaps if Loren did come in knowing what might await him, that Neron wouldn’t be as understanding. He tips his glass back to take a sip, unconsciously thinking of all the ways it could go wrong.
