And then, as they begin to head toward the exit of the Palace, Sunjata’s head inclines toward Loren as he explains how he’s been. “I’m sure that’s a lot of work.” He begins before chuckling lightly to it. “Does it really?” The smirk flashed to the summoner is both warm, and feigned surprise.
But Sunjata can feel a hint of amusement coming from the summoner, and the curious look has him puffing out a sigh of a white cloud as soon as they hit the chill of the air outside. “Could be much worse, honestly.” He rumbles, shrugging lightly. “Things are good though… Good like they were awhile ago. I’m sure you get the similar sort of feeling where you don’t want to admit that it’s really good because then things go to shit real fast, huh?” A raise of his brow to that. “But… Nate and I are good. Life is… Good. Right now.”
But then, he has to shift the subject back again. “How are things with you and Sam?” A quiet, tentative question, a branch reached out.
