this temporary blindness.

Thankfully the curtains hold this time. She gives them a few tugs, sliding them back and forth on their ropes to make sure everything is in working order. Nothing falls and the curtains slide to allow people to easily move in and out of the changing rooms. With enough rooms built to suit Hotaru’s needs, Weaver moves on to the beeswax. Shockingly, it has already warmed and begun to melt some. She’d expected to need to make a fire to get the wax soft enough to work with, and she’s almost disappointed that she doesn’t need to use her magic. Now that she has it, she enjoys an excuse to show off (even though there’s no one in the room with her to witness it).

Well, at least it saves her a bit of time. Starting in the far corner of the room and working toward the door, Weaver begins to coat the floor in the beeswax. She works slowly, wanting to make sure the coating is even and complete. More importantly, she also wants to make sure she works herself out the door, so she doesn’t get stuck on the far side and unable to walk over the still warm beeswax.
