And boy isn’t that a story. The grin flashes across his face once more, taking a deep inhale of breath. “Okay, so, get this. My father was so paranoid of a resistance brewing he had a library specifically for finding out how the ones in our world started, so he could do the opposite of it. Squashing out the resistance where he could. That summer before I started enforcer training was spent squirreling them away and researching.” His grin grows wider, far more amused with himself and what he’d gotten away with.
