Indeed Safrin was more than pleased to think of her creations singing through flesh beneath the hands of one she called her own. Her history had been painted over with stars and enigmatic smiles, but Safrin had always been drawn to blood shed in her name.
That sort of carnal worship would never go out of style.
As fire and electricity began to swarm around each blade, Sunjata would feel his skin begin to itch. Patterns and images formed in ink that could never be washed away, would never fade beneath the sun. A mark. Perhaps the timing was merely coincidental, or perhaps it was intentionally added prior to the flood's upcoming nuptials. Like with Ronin, some agreements supercede wedding vows. Hopefully for all involved, those ties are never tested.
