And for a split moment, he thinks it might work, the grin remaining for the moment until Ronin’s hand latches around the leg and Sunjata can feel himself stumbling, tilting with the force of it and everything else. So what else is there to do?

He laughs down the bond toward Ronin — shifting to where man becomes snake — his foot shifting and melding into that of his tail that remains in Ronin’s hand, but the force of the spin has the rest of him wrapping around Ronin like a wet noodle.
