When Chulane did return, the Firebrand opened his eyes. Looking between the bowl and the vet, the healer finally stood and lumbered over to his drink. Lowering his head, he took in a great gulp of air through his mouth, scenting the brew.
The cider did indeed smell like apples. That was enough to convince Loren to start lapping at it. His tongue flitted in and out of his mouth almost in a blur. [say]So good.[/say] He made a chuffing sound when he stopped to take a breath.
