Amalia
the shield of safrin
A strike, a parry, and no wounds are landed, nor are points of reason met. She receives no answer to her plea save violence, aggression on either side without a moment to consider parlay. Retreating back from the onslaught of tentacles, Amalia turns at the sound of Deimos' declaration, chewing on her lip. Aside from trying to broker peace she is relatively weak, without offensive abilities, here to support and protect.
"I'll try to keep it distracted!" the Shield calls back, adjusting her grip on her sword. Darting back on pulsing wings, she again reaches mentally for the beast, trying to permeate to anything like intelligence. Simultaneously Amalia focuses on the new energy she's found, imagining shackles of light holding one of the creature's tentacles in place, anchored to the ground.

Amalia continues trying to distract/speak to the leviathan, but is focused on evading. She tries to conjure hard light shackles to hold one of its tentacles, ideally the one trying to hit her. If it attacks her she will attempt to parry.
Type: Light
Nova (upgraded) | A beautifully slender sword perfectly crafted for Amalia. The cross-guard is carved from luxere antlers (These antlers glow a soft red despite being detached from the luxere. They provide constant light and protect anyone who holds them during LongNight), imbued with minor healing abilities (upgraded level). The sword will never deal a killing blow, leaving an enemy on 1HP.
Beast Speaker | Can speak to rare creatures/companions/regular animals. Requires permission to "speak" on behalf of someone's companion. Regular animals speak in varying levels of coherence.
Magic: Light of Vi | Amalia can generate small or medium hard-light constructs which interact physically with the world. Constructs last 1 minute and degrade when damaged.
