Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.

Well, it seemed whoever was there was smart enough, because Mildew began to see a figure standing up. Taking a few steps forward, she leaned back and smiled as she saw Aurelia rise out of the mud, unable to help the couple of breaths of laughter that passed her lips (and not trying to help them). "You must be very confident, dear, to come into my wilds, fall in the mud, then ask who I am." She commented, chin raised in superiority, though she quickly changed, laughing again (a sound like bells in the wind) and reaching down to help Aurelia out of the mud.
"I've had a lot of names over the years. The Wilds Witch, Pythonis...now I suppose I'm going by Mildew, though - I chose it myself. One of my favourite things." She fixed Aurelia with a look, as if challenging her to make any disapproving comments about the choice of name. "And who are you?"
