"Sort of?" Ronin responds automatically to the voice from somewhere below him, glancing down to see a woman he's not met before, jotting notes about the strange sapling. He clears his throat, realising they've just stumbled into a conversation together, and reaches out to offer her a hand up.
"I've seen something similar in the Greatwood. Not quite so... spirited, I guess? But the trees definitely seemed sentient. They used to move, I swear, to prevent you from getting to places they didn't want you to go." Reaching out with his free hand, his fingers brush along the strange tree - predictably, it pulls back again and quivers.
With a small smile, he glances back to the woman. "I'm Ronin," he introduces.
