"It should be all ri -- " Arialla wasn't afraid up until the very moment the second shark breached, but at that point, yes, she very much agreed with Henry -- they needed to fly! She snapped her wings downward, taking off with all the force she could muster. Whether her feathers were dry or not, it was time to go.
At first she wobbled in the air, fear weakening her wings, but as she flapped several more times, she started to gain altitude. It was going to be all right. She could fly, and the sharks most definitely could not ... Though, she remembered from fisherman's tales, they could jump quite high.
"Keep going!" she told Henry. "They can jump!"
