He shakes his head, though in truth he's unsure. "I don't think so. She will always be able to pull my strings with Seren..." She doesn't need another to put him under the thumb - he's already there. And whilst he doesn't doubt that she loves the girl as any mother does, Ronin isn't deluded enough to believe that Seren's existence wasn't a manipulation.
