when the night falls on you
& you don't know what to do
& you don't know what to do
'I've never used one.' Tobi says of the portals. It was an absolute no-no for any member of the Order, but then, the doctor also had very little reason to travel anyway. All of her work was here, in Stormbreak.
With cheese dripping down her chin and her fingers pressed into a croissant, Tobi looks at Maeve a touch sheepishly as she tries to breathe in through her nose that she doesn't choke herself. "Mmmhmm." She hums around her food, trying to chew and swallow as quickly as she could. "I use a few tools that have come from the gods, but most of what I do, is just...me." A seed of panic took root in the back of her mind, wondering if Finn perhaps had said something to Maeve about Tobi's secret shift. Was that why she was asking? Would the Madame suddenly press her for shards of her horn or else?
"Oh. Well, I'm sure I can help with that. I can even give you a little healing kit for traveling and such." Just for Safrin. That was fine.
Right?

nothing you confess
could make me love you less
