It seemed no matter what way he tried, he would be blocked. That meant he was trapped until whatever magic controlled that barrier let the barrier drop. He frowned slightly, feeling a build-up in his temples, a headache. He rubbed his temples and groaned lowly, running one of his hands through his long black hair before he looked up, having heard multiple whispers. At first, he thought the not too kind words were directed at him. That was, until he looked up and noticed the woman looking at her tomes.
A swear word caught his attention, making him look at the woman again, who seemed to not hear them. Or maybe she did, he did not know. Roana gave no indication that she heard them and the wolf admired that. Had it been him, the room would have been painted red. But since it was not about him, he watched the woman they were talking about.
"What'd you do to piss everyone off?" he asked, head tilted to the side curiously as he looked back down at the map, finger tracing the land he had come from.
