Well, it seemed the human male understood something, but Pim couldn't be sure what. He had done what he could and wouldn't fret on it more than that. As far as protecting Phoebe? Pim rumbled a noise. As if he had to be told to do that.
Without another sound, Pim scurried back upstairs. He crawled onto the bed next to Phoebe, curling around her as best he could before laying his head over the top of her, pressing on her shaking hands to force them still. The pink dragon stared at the door, motionless save of his low breathing, standing guard over his human while she slept.
