i've got a river for a soul
Raising a mischevious eyebrow as if to silently say, take a guess, the alchemist merely grins away the question. "The very definition of lazy, is that man." He agrees with a laugh, knowing it not to be true.

Raising his brows at this sudden change, Remi tilts his head with interest to the side, watching as the scale is pulled into the light. For a moment he doesn't actually recognize it, until it catches the light and seems to breathe lilac right into his field of vision. "Absolutely no need to explain." He soothes. She told him nearly a year ago that she loved the large bear-like man; to hear that her affection still held strong and that she wished to protect him didn't come as a surprise at all.

"What sort of protection, do you think? Armor? Or...against the elements? Against magic?" There was only so much he could do of course, but for Amalia—for love sappy as it was—he'd do anything.
Speaks with a thick Italian accent.
Force and magic can be used against Remi without permission.
