"The sort that fill the world, unseen but felt from time to time, neither fully part of this world nor the realm of my father." she said with fondness, looking around at that which only her eyes could see - undulating beings of energy, slightly twisted in this part of the world for its separate from the world but still beautiful and loved by the daughter of death. "Neither good nor bad, but ever useful to those who listen." she said, answering but not as directly as the girl might like. Death and its counterparts could only ever be fully understood by those who had walked through the realm of Mort.
Her eyes glanced at the shawl then, widening for a moment in surprise before her gaze turned ever fond. "What a thoughtful and lovely gift Ludo has bestowed upon you. They must cherish you very much. You are lucky to be so blessed by one so loved by Mort." she, the love she felt for the raggedly deity etched into each word. Ludo might be skeptical of her, but it did nothing to tarnish the devotion she felt for them.
And as the girl revealed her reason for calling for it, it became increasingly clear. Something must be amiss in the Greatwood, lest Ludo take care of it themself. "I see. How thoughtful of them to send you with a guide then." she said, a hint of a smile in her eyes. "Then let us go and complete this task, whatever it is." she added without hesitation.
