At Sunjata's surprised look, Loren raised his eyebrows. "Jealous? Or concerned?" The slightly teasing edge had crept back into his voice. Still, the questions didn't stop him from taking another sip.
Smirking a bit, the healer sat up, staring out at the ocean. "Nope. Haven't kissed her." There was almost an unspoken 'yet' lurking in the words, though he wasn't serious about that.
Glancing at the bartender, the healer let out a huff of laughter. "Giving it a try. Is that what you're calling it? Because she seems to be treating it quite, quite seriously." Lifting his flask, he tilted his head to one side. "Very aware. So I hope you know that if you screw this up, she might just try to murder you." Only then did he take another sip.
