But when Loren confirms he hadn’t kissed her, he simply nods, unsure of how the words had come out. Somewhat challenging? He snorts. He wants to see him try. Regardless, the conversation shifts toward the relationship that’s budded between them and he takes a deeper swig from the flask before turning into his side to look more fully at Loren. “Believe it or not but I think we have a good shot.” He rumbles, his gaze flat and entirely serious on that matter.
“Also I’m sure if I screw it up it won’t just be her coming for me, so.” A shrug and another swig, pulling Haai a bit closer to scratch at her neck.
