Down and down and down, landing neatly on the sand before the stony-steps up towards the lighthouse. There stood Safrin, glowing and opulent, dressed in a gown of white that danced about her frame like petals in water. And at her side was a small girl with sea-bright eyes and ravenous dark hair.
