Loren found himself picking his way through the Greatwood gingerly. There was a jar of honey in one hand and an apple in the other. Though he wouldn't say he was at his best, he was doing better than he had in a long time.
There was a shrine by the Crimson Cataract that he'd heard of in passing, one dedicated to Frey and Rae. It didn't take that long to find it, and he smiled faintly as he saw the statue, the way it shifted as he moved. For a while, he simply watched it.
Then he knelt. Laying his offerings at the foot of the shrine, he bowed his head slightly. "Frey, I have done as you asked." His lips twitched with a bit of wry amusement. "Hopefully properly this time."
Clearing his throat, he glanced up at the statue. "I'm sorry it took so long. And that I was so pigheaded about it." Once again, he bowed his head.
A secret deep and dark must be revealed to someone who might hate you for it. A proper secret now, don't you go twisting words to try and get out of it.
