It takes a certain kind of senseless recklessness to not back away even when the great beast at your side does, but Nate doesn’t even seem to notice Isla withdraw. He sees an opportunity, a chance to rush forward and topple to monster, leading with his shoulder as he runs and slams into the metallic bulk of its body.
