Emmett did not have to wait long for conversation to find him in the form of an older man, smiling as he held a drink that wafted a sweet scent up to his nostrils. He was not used to sweets, having been brought up on hardy vegetables and bland stews, so the honey smelled too strong, sickly even. Still, he made no comment on this, just smiled and took the hand to shake. "Both, actually, Arthur. I'm just about tryina get my head around this drinkin' thing." He said, looking down into his beer and swishing it about in the mug. "Is that a bit o' booze you've got there? It smells mighty odd." What he was trying to say was unclear, but Emmett was more trying to keep a momentum in the conversation by continuing to talk. "Up on the farm we only have a few spirits my Pa buys in. He says they're the best thing to drink, but they smell like something you'd wash a cow down in to me." Ok, Here It Goes
