Vervain had just straightened up at the bar, setting a few clean glasses down on the back shelf ready for when people wanted drinks. She grinned at Remi as he slung his arm around her shoulder, hugging him back and glancing up at him. "Is that what we are meant to say?" she asked, laughing quietly and brushing a wild lock of hair out of her face. All in all the Rathskeller's mistress was not bothered by the situation. There was a herd of the creatures with the glowing antlers outside, and the tavern was as prepared as it could be. Not to mention, there was more than enough food to go around so far, and she could only hope that it would stay that way. Still, it was only early days in this week of darkness, and she would stay vigilant. Absently she rolled up the sleeves of the shirt she was wearing - it was Devrum's, and the reason for it was a little clearer as her hand drifted to cradle the soft but noticeable swell of her stomach.
