For centuries it has been trapped. The landscape of the above has changed with tectonic shifts and the warring of humans, but below, the water remained dark and still and stagnant. The beast slept. Every few decades or so it would rouse and rise to the surface, bumping its colossal body against the thick wall of ice placed there by the Eirachi only to find it still in place. Down it would drift again to slumber, losing both its rationality and its patience.
Though previous attempts had been made to crack the ice, today it would seem that two opposing groups would find themselves both successful. Magic and might both pull apart the beast's cage, and though it slumbers several miles beneath the surface, it takes almost no time at all for the glacial fissures to rouse it. Upward it swims, nearly 80ft in length, the beast is a long-extinct relic of a time when dinosaurs roamed the globe. Like a cross between a leviathan and a shark, this long-necked saw-toothed beast is shockingly fast given its monstrous size. But after all this time locked beneath the ice, it has no plans to run.
