Muscles tensing beneath the flow of static at her fingertips, Danta's tongue writes promises he fully intends to keep, and as his back finally bumps against the storeroom door, his hand (loathe as it is to part from her, alas) pulls back to fumble with the handle. It only takes a moment to get the latch open, before they're stumbling into muffled darkness and the smell of lumber and booze.
