Allotting the Dragoon a moment to catch his breath, Deimos never quite ceased maneuvering; strides not unlike many predators, sweeping along as he waited and debated. The question made him grin though. “Fought a leviathan,” was the simplest answer. “Then asked Safrin to craft it into armor.” A notation of reward within risk; though that had never been a thought crossing his mind whenever he stepped into the battlefield in any capacity. Survival; first and foremost, for any of his constituents and whatever means they were hoping to protect and confront. Everything else thereafter was subject to alteration and consideration. But then they were moving once more. Kaisel either didn’t appreciate the advice or kept it collected for another time – as he simply surged forward again. The angle of the blade left some things to be desired, managing to stifle a snort as he rotated out of range, save for the angle of his shoulders, purposefully taking the hit upon glinted scales.
This time, he thought in such proximity, he might be able to churn the younger man right off his feet. That was the goal, anyway, as he unleashed another gust of torrents and wind, intending to lift and place the soldier further back; displaced but unharmed.
