"Easy!?" he echoes with a scoff, which breaks into a laugh as she delivers her choice. "I cannot believe you'd answer that over opting for a dare," he shakes his head at her, tutting softly. "You're gross," he playfully chastises as he bumps into her again, utterly delighted even if she had gone off script.
He's ready for her most wicked question yet, expecting payback, but her's instead elicits a thoughtful hum for a moment as he considers it. On the one hand, fast forwarding through boring meetings and lectures would be nice, and he could get all his questions solved by just jumping ahead to the outcome. It feels a bit like a waste though, if he can't also rewind, plus if Adam Sandler has taught us anything, it's that you should not press fast forward. That said, "hmmm, I think replay the memories, but would I get to pick and choose or would it just happen?" Reliving the things he's already made it through that he doesn't want to do again kinda sounds like some sort of Greek hell. If he could pick though? There's a few gems he'd gladly revisit over and over. "If I could choose, our burgers would be a worthwhile replay," he says with a smirk.
The kites are more visibly now, a pattern of colors and shapes, some simple and classic, others intricate with moving parts that add realism to its depiction and challenge to the handler. "You ever flown a kite before?" he asks with a tilt of his head. "They're very popular in Stormbreak—lots of wind to really get them flying." He can't say he's an avid kit flier, but some people can manage a wide array of impressive tricks. He's skeptical Halo boasts such a team, but the dips and sways of the kites a worth a watch either way, inherently joyful.
Alright, he's gonna get her. "Would you rather save Vesper, or Nova?"
