ISKRA
The shift of Damien off him is an immediate relief, and his breath pulls in deeper for the removal of the pressure of added weight and force of fight. Iskra remains sprawled on the ground for the moment, happy to just recover, but Goose will have none of it. He's left sputtering against the newest opponent— his dog. "Ger'ff" he mutters to the hound, twisting his head away from the snaking tongue that manages to find his nose so well, and shoving back against the fuzzball with a groan of effort.
He rolls free of the assault, popping up back to his feet and dusting off the black he'd gathered. "I think we settle on a draw," Iskra offers instead, relaxing easy back into banter now that they aren't grappling. He's also not sure he can call getting tossed onto his back a win, but then that's what life has always done to him, and he's still managed to keep his head above water all these years later, somehow, so maybe there's victory in that that he's forgotten how to recognize.
A deep, earnest laugh spills free, and Iskra steps in beside Damien, clapping him on the back. "Yeah, but you got some sand still, just right there," Iskra motions at the corner of his own mouth, to trick Damien into wiping at the edge of his. "C'mon, let's head back into some place that'll actually have game for you." Goose follows along in a winding path as they wander back towards town.

It's hard to tell the truth when you lie to yourself
Always give too much of you to someone else
I'm talkin' to you now like we're old friends
It'll never be too late to start again
Always give too much of you to someone else
I'm talkin' to you now like we're old friends
It'll never be too late to start again
