Character of the Season
Once known as the Butcher of Whitebrim, he's now The Butcher of Dygra, stepping forward as the first created demigod of the Ancients. There is no question that Astaroth casts an intimidating silhouette. Tall, domineering and dangerous, if looks could kill you'd be dead already, but to get up close and personal with the Grounds' resident cannibal tells a much different story. Dripping with charm and clad in only the finest attire, Asta is a gentleman monster, as polite as they come and committed to his role as security for the Dusklight and those who have earned his loyalty. Be careful of that smile, though - those teeth are sharp.
Congratulations, Asta!

I've done nothing wrong Except for all the atrocities
“Lovely,” she commented, pretending that the whole applause thing never even happened. Instead, she watched as Koa dug his heel into the boot of a nasty little snake, and they carried on. “All right, I’m trying again,” by way of warning, because gods knew what the fuck was going to happen next –
And then a searing bolt of lightning rampaged downward, smoldering, sparking, and sizzling directly into the line of five mata matas nearby. The pulsing and potent electrocution sent waves of rolling, boiling, and toiling creatures, until they were well...quite burnt and crispy.
The Honeybee smirked, as if all of that was meant to take place, before getting her bow ready – figuring once the chaos had struck, it was likely best to move back into the weapons she knew best.
And effective. Koa blinks against the brightness, raising his arm up too late to properly shield his eyes (but managing, inadvertently, to shield himself against a flying snake). Bright motes dance through his eyes and brain, leaving him squinting and bemused. Desperately Koa blinks against it, trying to focus his poor, seared eyes.
Luckily for the rag-tag group, Mel's lightning seems to have cinched the fight. With the majority of the snakes toasted or shot, those few survivors make the collective decision to get the fuck out of dodge. Koa manages to hurl his chakram at one last retreating serpent before they all disappear, leaving the wall of vines empty and silent once more.
Shoving his hand into his hair, Koa shakes his head. "Ok. Well. That was something." Turning to look at Melita, he offers a lopsided smile. "How about we break for a drink? I could use a drink." And maybe a change of shoes, he thinks, rubbing his heel on the ground to scrape snake off his boot.

At least this was a moment to be proud of. She hadn’t been suddenly forced into a nap or turned into a frog, and all the nasty little Mata Matas were either dead or fleeing. So she took Koa’s compliments with a Cheshire grin and poor impulse control, watching as the rest fled before putting the weaponry away. “See? Effective.” Sure, five seconds ago she’d summoned nothing but applause, but hey, take what you can get. She'd clearly meant to do all that.
Anyways - drinks. While she hadn’t truly forgotten the whole point of the venture, learning about archery, taunting or teasing Koa somehow…they’d certainly accomplished enough for one day. And she could always torment him later. Taunting didn’t have an expiration date. “Yes pleaaaase,” and then they could saunter off, companions in tow and some more void nonsense taken down.
