"Are you?" Ronin tilts his head, looking contemplative. "Noted. I'll have to try harder next time - I wouldn't want you thinking you're cleverer than everyone else." Grinning, the Knight sinks back into the water as well, humming out a note of indulgent contentment to let the hotsprings take his weight and already start to soothe the tell-tale ache from his hips and thighs. "Mm, that's a good point I suppose. For you, though, I'd take a dive down some stairs on purpose." Winking at Remi through the steam, he of course gets his feet under him enough to join his husband before he gets too lonely.
"My heroism never fades," he says with a haughty toss of his head, settling against the side of the springs beside Remi and stretching an arm around him, boneless in his relaxation. "Especially if you're planning to be a high maintenance damsel. I've got to be on top form, you know. All the more reason to take this break while we've got the chance." Leaning in to smooch a kiss to the other man's cheek, Ronin will take great pains to ensure that he and his husband are given ample opportunity to relax, before - of course - winding them up all over again.
All in a day's work, right?
