[say]“Thought I just had,”[/say] went on the edges of a smirk and a slight arch of his brow; but he’d help and assist regardless, simply not resisting an opportunity to taunt.
He yielded to agreements and accords anyway though, nodding as Sah channeled his lightning, as the crackle and spark of the familiar element, mostly from Ru, sizzled and snapped in its unfurled proportions. The Sword followed through immediately, casting the dueling wake of flames and water – harnessing both of them in rapid contortions. The inferno snaked, looped, and consumed, while the water drenched and soused, chiseling into finer depths of ice, serrating with blunted edges.
Together, with volatility and power, the unmoving targets didn’t stand much of a chance.
Sah paused before letting out a sheepish laugh, [say]"That you did."[/say] He sent Deimos a playful glare, [say]"But then you had to go and give me an idea to test out."[/say]
Then it was showtime. His lightning crackled, surging forward to strike each target. As it traveled through the air, some of it arched and connected to Deimos' water and fire. The water became a double-edged weapon of continuous electrocution, each target it struck continuing to zap and fizzle even after the hit had landed. The fire acted as a vessel, focusing the unpredictable lightning into a more precise attack. The moments where the three elements stuck alone were no less devastating for the still and fragile targets.
As the smoke and sparks faded, the Wild Thunder let out a low whistle, [say]"Damn."[/say] There really wasn't much more that he could say. The three-pronged attack had been even more destructive than he predicted.
Sah glanced at Deimos, [say]"Would you be willing to create an earth shield? I'm going to try and break through it using a combination of my magics and my sword."[/say] He'd used his telekinesis to throw his electrified sword before. But he'd never paired it with his air magic to increase its speed and dexterity.
Indifferent to whether or not inspiration had struck a chord, the beast shook his head with only a minatory smirk accompanying, too busy watching the ample amounts of coordinated destruction. Amplified elements had only been a mere portion of his ideas, and to watch them unfurl in rapid succession upon the unfortunate effigies (witnessing mini Sunjatas burn had a certain ring to it) was a satisfying blend of further intrigue and demolition. [say]“Good,”[/say] was what he surmised in the end. [say]“While these were obviously still opponents, its rewarding to see what they could become.”[/say] If anyone would dare – besides local wildlife or the hoards of dragons lingering nearby.
As for Sah’s own intentions, Deimos’ brow drew into an arch again. Leaving the figures to smoke and ash and for several warriors to look onward in rapt bewilderment or unbothered quips (they’d seen the Warden leave enough damage in their wakes before), he gave a silent accord and agreement.
And from there, gathered the collective of earth from within – stone, wood, rock, soil, combining and collecting into a lengthy and broad shield.
Sah watched as Deimos created his shield, wondering if one day he too would have the ability to control the earth beneath their feet. That was a line of thought for another time though. Once the shield was in place, the Wild Thunder took a few steps and drew his sword. Calling upon his magic, lightning arced along the blade and crackled in the air around it. A small crowd of bystanders had gathered during their initial display with the targets, and now remained to see just what the two magic users were up to now.
Letting go of his sword physically, Sah used his telekinesis to hold the elementally charged sword in the air. Then with a sharp gesture, he commanded the air around the blade to swirl, creating a corkscrew motion. With that, he sent the sword forward with telekinesis and air, urging it to go as fast as possible, and to pierce the shield as deep as it could.

The warriors of Halo were often familiar with Deimos, and any others, displays of raw power throughout the barracks. It was why he’d built it the way he had: with outlets for the dominion and potential, for the prowess and growth of not only incantations, but strength, technique, and maneuvers. He could hear some mulling and musing about, but his concentration laid on the unfurling blade, the lightning streamlining through it, and how to best counter the upheaval.
He packed more earth and grounding proportions behind the initial shield, permitting it to be an overbearing bounty of dirt, sod, and stone – so when the sword came for its components, it was ready for an onslaught. But power was a concentrated effort, and Sah had three behind his sentiments – so the armament slid through, slightly, erupting several portions and ricocheting fractures of the shield. Deimos smiled through the efforts, amused. [say]“Good planning.”[/say] Which wasn’t often said to Sah – so he’d allow the praise when it was deserving. [say]“Did you need anything else?”[/say]
Sah grinned ferally when parts of the shield were damaged. Although the goal had been to pierce the earthen defense, he'd suspected that it wouldn't play out that way. Mostly because it was Deimos, and the Sword was a far more powerful mage then him. But it was for that very fact that seeing any damage was so satisfying.
[say]"Thanks."[/say] With a flick of his wrist, the sword returned to his side, and the Abandoned shot his friend a grateful grin. [say]"No. That was it. Thank you for your help."[/say] The grin sharpened with mischief, [say]"And for indulging me. I owe you one."[/say]Two favors received yet one given.
With no further need of the earthen shield, Deimos sent the soil, loam, stones, and dirt back to its properties. The elements configured together and disappeared, and he tilted his head towards the rest of his constituents – who then pretended to be involved with other things immediately thereafter.
Muffling a snort, he glanced back at Sah, granting a firm nod of approval. [say]“You are welcome.” [/say]Pausing, he pondered over platitudes of favors; considering how often he snagged them from his fellows and barely ever utilized them. [say]“I may need some help in the Grounds soon. I will let you know.”[/say] Keeping the reason enigmatic for the moment, he turned, striding back towards the soldiers, offering a wave over his shoulder.
