Character of the Season
From Attuned to Ascended to Ancient, Kiada Njovu-Reyes has been reborn several times throughout her short life, but her fighting spirit has never once been diminished. With beauty, grace and a quick wit, Kiada is the whole package wrapped in an infectious smile. Recent endeavours have found her in the heart of the Hollowed Grounds, aiding the region and bettering it for her new Ancient kin, and whatever she does next, we know it's sure to pack a punch.
Congratulations, Kiada!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!
Having followed on the heels of her fellow ancients, as the little blonde watched her kin and those gathered reach into the barrel, it was actually a dark-haired man who drew the priestess's attention moreso than plucking any bit of tat out from the barrel (because she's a SC and can't get stats anyways lol). Bounding toward Mateo, Charlie was haloed in fire to ward off the worst of the chill, dampening it back only slightly as she neared the Accepted.
"It's you!" Sounding utterly delighted, Charlie reached out to grasp Mateo's jacket (pulling back her fire as she did so), to press a kiss against his cheek. "I've been meaning to come visit you, but look, here you are!"
Charlie kisses Mateo

Hella golden retriever energy. Small unrefined horns made of ruby. Regular spade-shaped tail.
All of this was weird, but after having just battled a monstrous hulk of a void being, Noah had expected the nightmares.
He just hadn’t expected them to look like they had.
He expected black ichor and violent purple ooze, tentacles and beaks and eyes and claws, thrashing waters and spraying sands. Of the cold, cold way the eyes flicked back and forth in the foreign body of the creature.
When he finally awoke, he felt weird. He sat in his bed for a long time, opening and closing his hands and extending his fingers.
Once he left his home, Marcus with him just as shaken, it didn’t take long for the word to reach him. So they went.
Finally, after so many others, Noah decided to approach the lucky dip. He looked to Marcus, and then dipped in.
Noah dips!
no one ever tells you that forever feels like home
”MOM!” came out in a scream as Marcus was finally able to pull himself out of sleep. He threw his blankets off and jumped out of the top bunk of the new bed he shared with his twin sister. She stirred suddenly with the screech and the abrupt awakening, following Marcus.
It took a while to comfort both of them, but their parents were good at it.
But Marcus wouldn’t leave his dad’s side.
Not even as they made their way all the way down to the sudden and bright festivities, meant to bring everyone together who had somehow experienced all the same thing.
The young abandoned stayed mostly quiet, but followed his dad’s lead and dipped in to the lucky dip after him.
For an event that takes place in his neck of the woods, Sunjata’s fashionably late to the fuss that’s brought so many to his shores. Given the state of things, well, he’s never dealt well with nightmares and even more so now that it had been reoccurring time and time again. Shadows sit beneath his eyes as he lands (contributing to his lateness), but he does spy Melita wandering away from this painted barrel he doesn’t think he’s seen before.
Curious enough about it, the Flood steps forward to try his hand at the Lucky Dip, flashing an easy smile of greeting to the strangers running it, before departing to go and greet Melita in the meantime.
Sunjata tries the Lucky Dip!
get a load of this trainwreck
No permission needed for power play!
Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
Luka wouldn’t say he’s particularly adept at adventuring the way his sister is, but traveling? Somehow the slight change in wording makes all the difference. He’s not a social butterfly by any means, but there are plenty of people his age for once, and Luka will never skip a chance to try if it means making someone go pink and giggly.
Unfortunately it doesn’t last long given his sister’s…everything. Still, Soleil comes before anyone and anything else, so although Luka curses and tries to save his drink (making his fingers sticky in the process, eugh) he doesn’t actually resist. Maybe - hopefully - it will merely make him seem more mysterious to his forsaken flirting partner?
Muttering to himself as Soleil gleefully plunges her hand in first, Luka respectfully uses his clean hand to reach into the barrel, hoping it will satisfy his sister for long enough that he can escape back to his partner. Maybe actually get her name?

Luka Lucky Dips!
Don't have a threshold for patience, I distaste all stagnancy
Similar to Sunjata, she’s fashionably late for something happening in their veritable backyard, but Hotaru has always preferred to arrive in a way that makes her entry more visible. It’s an upbeat meeting already and thank the gods for it because the last few meetings have been terrible.
Flora is her first target, swanning in and disrupting the peace to plant a kiss on her cheek and squeeze her waist from behind, smiling over her daughter’s shoulder at - oh, how convenient! - her second daughter-ish, Melita. “So this was the secret all along to making you two visit my neck of the woods at the same time? Material offerings?” Her bemoaning attitude, chin lolling on Flora’s shoulder with a wounded expression, swiftly brightens into mischievous approval. “I approve. Don’t wander far, I’m going to try my luck too.”
It’s perfect timing because she thinks she sees her beloved heading toward Melita, so Hotaru taps out and takes her turn at the line to dunk her hand into the mysterious opening which certainly won’t take her hand as an offering. Thanks Caido for the eternal doubt and terror. As she looks up she spots Kiada, and since surely her other two girls would never disobey her, she kips over to bug her and her beau next. What a surprisingly pleasant day after an off-putting night of terrors.

Hotaru Lucky Dips!
through her, in a rush of musk and saffron beauty falls into disarray
Hotaru has a passive magic that makes her glow with an internal golden light; it makes her appear youthful and her hair seems to look like moving sunlight. Can only subtly illuminate dark spaces.

I'm bringin' sexy back Them other fuckers don't know how to act
Koa's dreams have not been pleasant of late, but they certainly do not measure up to the horrors regularly experienced by many of Caido's denizens. So perhaps he is more unsettled by the shocking emptiness of it all, more eager than others accustomed to darkness might be to fill this void.
He's already a few drinks in when he makes it to the Lucky Dip, vibrantly enthusiastic and ready to participate in anything, if it distracts him from his thoughts. "I'll have a go!" Koa declares loudly, rolling his sleeve up and shoving his arm in to grab a prize from the depths below.
Then, satisfied and buzzed, he takes himself and his beer off towards a familiar face. "Mateo!" Koa calls warmly to his friend, stopping short and raising his eyebrows as a gorgeous, tiny blonde beats him to the punch. "Who's your friend?" the Dragoon wonders as he slides in near the other boys, raising his bottle to Everest. "Hey, Ever. Been a minute. I hear you, uh, you've been busy." There's the slightest bit of edge to his voice, a reservation shuttering his copper eyes as he regards the aviator suspiciously.
Koa dips!
