[God Quest] for your thoughts

Sinking to her knees before the shrine, Flora had come to the shrine at dusk when the heat of Longheat was just about bearable. A breeze wandered in from the nearby coast, brushing the queen's hair from her face and offering a bit of relief from the sticky and humid air.

"Rae, I have done as you asked. Fertile soil from the base of our volcano, fertilizer in the form of unicorn poop, water from Frey's Breath, and an Apple Ghost from the Hollowed Grounds." So saying the Doubletake set each component near the shrine before sitting back, head still bowed.

"Whatever your thoughts on this, we are committed to fighting for our home and beating back these invaders who threaten to take it from us."

Flora has completed her quest given in one small step

1. Collect soil: [SE] messy hands
2. Collect fertilizer: Tal, [SE] But does it sparkle?
3. Collect water from Frey's Breath: your smile fades in the summer
4. Collect a pollinator: Danta, [SE] all the ghosts of yesterday

dance beneath the stars as you drink in the night
let the thunder overtake you as lightning fills the sky.

Appearing as one, their hands intertwined, Rae looks fleetingly at Flora before their attention is turned to the components she has gathered. "It is in the nature of nearly every species to try and survive. Those are our thoughts on the matter." They say indifferently, before depositing a small seed in the midst of the soil and then depositing the manure over it. With the addition of the water a bud immediately began to grow, its stalk twisting. Releasing the Seed Ghost saw the sudden appearance of a bloom, that quickly unfurled into a white lily gilded with gold. ''

Stepping back the twins nod, their end of the bargain completed. That done, they wordlessly disappear.

Flora has received: 

Rae's Lilies (rare - The Climb): Purest white and veined with turquoise and gold, these lilies may only be found along the edges of the Frey's Breath hot springs. Rumoured to contain all the healing power of the springs and more, they are a mythical find indeed.

Flora

Lifting her gaze as the twin-god appeared before her, Flora sat up, aqua eyes blinking. Turning her attention toward the objects she'd collected (well, mostly she'd collected them), the queen leaned back on her heels watching as the god grew the lily right before her eyes.

Biting at the inside of her lip, it occurred to Flora that she might just ask Rae why it was they couldn't supply Caido with a supply of lilies, what the harm could possibly be in tipping the scales a little bit. Surely none of the gods wanted to see their lands be overrun with deities from another land entirely? Only Rae was gone before the question had so much caused the queen to lick at her lips, leaving her huffs quietly at the shrine before collecting her lily and leaving.
