"I've no doubt you could. Bit cold though, ain't it?" Jack raises his eyebrows over his shoulder to Flora, turning up the collar of his coat and stepping back to collect the bag they'd brought with them, hefting it up. By the time they are joined by his crew (as it happens) the captain has at least been able to adjust his pants as well, though the flush of pink that continues to heat the space between himself and the Doubletake is difficult to ignore for good.
"Enjoy the tunnels," he quips to her with a grin nevertheless; she did say he was teasing, afte all. "On the off chance you feel like somethin' a little warmer, though, I'm headin' right back to my cabin." And given that there's only a skeleton crew aboard, there's no need for him to come out for a good long while.
Maybe Flora would even care to join him.
