Zavien

It was nighttime when Zavien made his way across Stormbreak towards the shrine. The stars shone brightly overhead, bringing a smile to his face. His green eyes sparkled, reflecting the light against the joy of budding romance. It made him especially sentimental about life and love, drawing him to Safrin's image tucked within the peaceful greenery of the Celestine. He stepped up to the shrine, revealing a glittering glass wind chime, covering with images of stars in diamonds, twinkling softly when exposed to the gentle breeze. Zavien hung it on a branch as he settled in front of the shrine. It felt like he'd forgotten something, but he couldn't quite remember, so he proceeded.

He dipped his head respectfully, calling out into the night. "Good evening, Safrin. I know it's been awhile, but I had hoped to make a request of you." Running a hand through his hair, he tried to find the words that he'd thought of on the way there. "Koa showed me the great work you've done on his wraps, and I've recognized that there is a gap in my own strengths. Would you consider helping me with my sword?" The question served as the reminder for what he'd forgotten to do, and he scrambled to unsheathe the sword at his hip. It glinted in the starlight but remained mortally gray and dull despite hours of diligent care from the Dragoon. Clearing his throat, he indicated to the weapon as he set it under the wind chime whose clinking added to the tranquil atmosphere. "Being the most stunning being in existence, I thought it only fitting to ask you to bestow such magic upon my weapon." Zavien knew it was a strange request, but he hoped she might consider it nonetheless as he lowered his eyes, waiting to see whether Safrin would answer his call.

Zavien is asking Safrin to grant him a quest to make his sword shine brightly on attacks to stun enemies. If he doesn't roll high enough, he'll use his level 3 Custom Item Token. Thank you! <3

With so many favoured in one place, fickle spirits tend to leave you alone. You cannot be cursed when visiting a shrine by a spirit. (In order to use this, make sure to note the ability at the bottom of each shrine post).

Safrin

Appearing in a warm rush of air that smelled of lilac and petrichor, Safrin appeared before the dragoon draped in sheets of satin that whispered across her moon pale skin. "It hasn't been too long." The goddess replies playfully, her lips quirking into a pretty smile as she shrugs one slender shoulder. "Though it is always nice to see you without so many others around." She agrees, her smiling widening in response to his flattery as she stretches out a hand so that her finger could softly trail along the bottom of the windchime.

Glancing at the sword he held, Safrin's eyes moved gently up the blade before her gaze returned to the dragoon's face. "I could, but..." Eyeing the sword, the goddess tuts softly under her breath. "Perhaps we might work on the strength of the blade itself first?" Raising her brows and searching his handsome face for agreement, Safrin nods.

He rolled high enough, so you can keep your quest pass!

Zavien has been given a quest! He must

1. Complete a training thread using his sword at night
2. Complete a thread cleaning the sword in a pool of naturally occurring water beneath the stars
3. Complete a thread using his sword to defend/protect someone/something
4. Complete a thread burning any impurities out of the blade with fire/lava/etc.

Zavien

The sudden breeze had Zavien squinting his eyes shut. When he opened them again, Safrin stood before him, resplendent as always. He smiled a warm greeting, pleased to see that she was happy for his visit and offering. Her words brought a light blush to his cheeks, realizing that he'd never visited her without the others. It was something he'd definitely have to rectify.

He watched her eyes and listened to her suggestion, attentive to her every word. As disappointed as he was that it wouldn't be able to stun people yet, Zavien was not one to argue with a deity. His head dipped as he said, "Whatever you recommend. You are the goddess after all." He smiled politely, knowing full well that he would probably never turn down a quest she offered him. It didn't seem in good form.

Picking up his lackluster blade, he sheathed it again at his hip. "Thank you. I will return again when it's complete." Zavien gave her one last smile, then rose and made his way home, already planning how to finish his new quest.
