Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

The team's efforts proved both necessary and successful. There were a few gaps between stones and gems that were too small to add anything but mortar too. Yet, those very gaps were large enough to cause possible deterioration if left untouched. Amhran was the one who found the most concerning section and was able to stabilize it. Soon the structure was as solid as it could be, capable of withstanding the cold and wind of Halo.
Sah's eyes trailed over the gate with satisfaction, "It really does look fantastic. Well done, everyone. Now we just need to clean up." The tools needed to be returned to their owners and the mortar needed to be disposed of. The few extra gems and stones also needed to find a home.

Last round! No post order! Sah will take what's left.
Clean up!
1. Two people to return the tools to their owners. (NPC shopkeepers/merchants. Your choice.)
2.One person to dispose of the extra mortar.
3. One person to find homes for the extra gems and stones.
He stepped back amidst the others to admire their work, a light grin on his features – something both impressive and satisfying, to see it all coming together. Once this portion was complete, he’d be able to return to Frey and show them everything accomplished and improved upon.
Nodding at the notions, he listened to the last lingering steps, and figured someone else would be far more fitting in finding a new home for the leftover gems and stones. “I can take these back,” he figured, beginning to collect and grab hold of the various tools. He knew most of the shopkeepers, merchants, and owners anyway; though he’d wait patiently for whomever else opted to join. And it would ease any restlessness beginning to coil back into his movements.
Hearing Sah's voice, she glanced at the mess they'd made. The mortar from Amhran's imprisonment had mostly been cleaned up, but the extra materials littered the space, dull and useless. Elizabeth titled her head, trying to think of what to do with it all. She didn't have the slightest clue how to dispose of excess mortar. Maybe use it for something else? Yet nothing immediately came to mind, so she turned to the gems and stones.
Elizabeth knelt down, picking up a pretty pink one that hadn't quite fit with the rainbow. Smiling, she looked up at the others. "I'll take these. I've got some clients in mind who might like them." The physical objects could serve as mental reminders or means of fidgeting or calming. The colors would certainly be enough to convince some people to try the method. So she grabbed a small bag and began scooping the few leftovers inside, smile warm with passion for her patients.
Standing back with his companions to take in the gate fully now that the hard work is done, Amhran also finds a smile trickling across his face to see everything come together. Equally as keen to keep moving as he is to stay the heck away from any additional mortar, he jumps at the opportunity to join Deimos in getting the tools back to their rightful owners. Kneeling down to carefully gather them up, he bundles together those marked with similar initials, figuring that they would naturally belong to the same person, before rising to his feet once more.
He's more than happy to follow the Sword's lead; although Amhran has been able to explore much of the Citadel over the past year, he's still relatively new to those who live and work there, especially when it comes to these endeavours. Nevertheless, as they drop off the tools, he does so with a polite smile and earnest thanks for having loaned them.
Amhran and Deimos had no trouble returning the tools, each merchant and shopkeeper waving them down as they approached to retrieve their contribution to the region's quest. In the meantime, Elizabeth claimed for herself a sizeable collection of colorful rocks for future use. Sah was left with the excess mortar. He wasn't sure exactly the best way to go about his task, but he decided to combine it all into one container and then dropped it off at a mason's shop. The shopkeeper happily accepted the material, waving the hybrid off with a wide grin.
The team reconvened and Sah grinned, pleased to note that the sun was still high in the sky. "Perfect. Is everyone ready to eat. Lunch is on me. Thank you all for your hard work today."
