Character of the Season
Frail in body but dangerously quick of mind, Nikandr is the sort of character who proves that curiosity can be just as perilous as any weapon. A necromancer, inventor, and problem-solver with more ambition than self-preservation, Niki approaches the world like a puzzle box begging to be opened, even when what’s inside has teeth. Blunt, dry-witted, fiercely independent, and carrying a history best left partially buried, he has a knack for making even failure feel fascinating. Whether he’s raising the dead, moving across Caido to King's End, or experiencing a hangover for the first time, Nikandr brings a wonderfully strange spark to Caido, and we can’t wait to see what trouble his brilliant mind wanders into next.
Congratulations, Niki!

It turned out, there had been some more theatrics on the outskirts. It wouldn’t have been a Caido event without some sort of dramatic line drawn, and as he surveyed from the outskirts, the stirring of antics caused his eyes to flicker towards the scene – black dragons, Thalassa, and Ludo – as tables were upended, collapsed, and people scent scurrying. Instincts drove him to take a few steps forward, not unlike Ronin and Remi readying themselves for the usual round of something, but then nothing else seemed necessary – in one moment, things were hastened, and within the other, the herald had banished both.
And then there was a rose, seemingly at the center of the conflict.
Sighing, and unaware he’d be finding another the very same evening, his brow arched as Flora went after it, snagging for future endeavors, and everything else seemed to fade. He waited for quite a while afterwards, lingering along the edges again to ensure naught else seemed untoward or doomed – before taking that as a sign to meander his way out as well.
i'll use you as a warning sign that if you talk enough sense then you'll lose your mind
She’ll be surprised that he can, in fact, dance as well as he can fly. Provided you’re looking for more formal kinds of dancing - which it seems, based off of the crowd and the music playing is a good fit. He dances with her, enough that while he doesn’t feel the increase of his own breath, he can feel hers, and Sunjata keeps the arm around her easily as she leans in and presses her head to his chest.
Her comment about his cologne, smiling with a rumble of a laugh that she’d feel as much as she’d hear. And before he has a chance to answer, there’s a fucking dragon appearing and Ludo chastising someone in the distance. Of course, he hesitates, the wings of his own dragon shift erupting from his back just in preparation.
“Yeah, think you’re right on that one.” He agrees, letting her go with a nod and an easier smile, squinting into the party as Flora snags the rose Ludo offers up and he decides to call it a night after that too.
Sunjata out!
and i'll use you as a focal point so i don't lose sight of what i want

Feel free to use magic/force on Sunjata, without killing him <3
Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
Panacea knew she was late when she was finally walking into the woods. She adjusted her mask while walking, trying to speed up her steps while maneuvering around tree roots, hanging branches and fallen leaves. As she got closer she could hear it all. Screaming and crashing erupted from the clearing. She took off running. Taking care to pull the hem of it up as she dashed through the woods, so as to not trip.
By the time she reached the clearing all she could see was chaos. There was still screaming as people were moving around the edges of the clearing. A large black dragon stood in the middle of a fight. Panacea skids to a halt, as darkness sweeps over everyone. A mask appears ordering for the battling two to Get. Out. Booms through the sky. As quickly as things seemed to have started. They stop. The light is back, and the two in the middle of the ruined tables, overturned chairs and ruined food, are gone.
Panacea drops the bottom of her cloak and glances around. She watches people leave, and suddenly feels as if the small amount of sparkling on her mask, and the slight shimmering cloak make her another target for mayhem. She can feel the weight of the shells and netting on her side dragging her, and adding a weight to her chest. I don't know why I even bother to leave my island.
She'd been held back by a client, leaving her to arrive fashionably late to the party that was apparently already coming to a dramatic close. It was hard to figure out what had happened in the last few minutes, but she caught the words 'dragon' and 'Ludo' a few times amongst the panicked voices. There might have also been mention of a rose, but Elizabeth couldn't be sure if it was in reference to the magically gifted kind or if someone had sewn them into their costume. After all, people seemed to have been fairly liberal with their interpretation of Ludo's rags.
Adjusting her plain black robes and skirt, she fidgeted with the cotton mask sitting against her eyes so she could better assess the situation. It appeared that the physical damage had been limited to a single area, a couple of tables and chairs having been thrown from their places. People didn't look injured, but the fear on their faces couldn't have been faked. She imagined it wasn't a calming experience to be greeted by a herald and a deadly reptile in the same evening.
Planting a reassuring expression on her face, Elizabeth entered the fray to help calm the crowds.

It took her breath away, the sense of anxiety and fear in the clearing. It amazed Panacea the things that people get up to when in large groups. She really needed to work on her cynicism. And of course all the alcohol is now gone she thought...... cynically.
Glancing around, and ensuring no one was seriously injured, a familiar body stepped through the clearing. Elizabeth stepped up wearing a simple black cloak and white cotton mask. Panacea watched her gaze through the crowd. She could recognize a healer doing what comes to them naturally. She started to walk to her new acquaintance and called out.
"Late to the party as well?" She stopped a few feet away, ensuring to not be too close just incase she caused some alarm. "Looks like we missed out on all of the fun.", Panacea says, voice dripping in sarcasm. "Good news is, I don't think anyone was physically harmed. Though, I am not sure that means there may not be any new work for you."

A familiar voice drew her attention from the man she'd just calmed. He gave her a grateful smile and walked away, leaving her to turn towards Panacea when she approached. Elizabeth offered a regretful smile, glancing around at the scattering festivities. "I'd hoped to maybe catch a dance or two before everyone left, but I guess that's not happening anymore." The music had stopped and most people were making their way to the hidden paths of the forest, seeking solace in the safety of their own homes. Unless she planned to dance by herself in the silence of the woods, she'd have to wait until next party.
She nodded her head, glad to see that there weren't any blood or disfigured limbs. "It looks like the damage was fairly minimal - although I won't celebrate any new clients that come my way." Smiling sadly at the unfortunate possibility, Elizabeth gestured to where the long tables of food had been abandoned. A few were knocked over, but the majority were still laden with spiced meats and sweet treats. "Maybe I'll linger by the tables of food in case my services are needed. Care to join me?" Her warm gaze turned to Panacea, not minding the company and willing to stick around in case others might seek them out.

Panacea nodded agreeing to some food, hoping for something to eat. They walk to the table, eyes sweeping for patients that may need to see either of them.
"Honestly, I am not sure I was hoping for much, but this really wasn't it." She starts to look through what is left on the table, hoping for something palatable. Or at least hoping for a drink that hasn't been spilt. "I wouldn't mind staying for a bit of time to see where I can be useful. Or at least to be able to help clean if it comes to it."
