you're never gonna get it, I'm a hazard to myself
Danta hasn't come across names with those tripwires yet, but the scrunch of his nose makes his opinion of them all too clear. "I think it'd be a good idea to make one from the Hollowed Grounds down to Torchline," he admits, glancing around thoughtfully as if to scope out a suitable place for such a portal. "They're on opposite sites of Caido, and it can take a while to get down here sometimes."

But then he's got his dart! to show off, Danta grinning and blessing Erebos with a roguish bow for his trouble, before swiftly teleporting himself back beside the boy in a series of quick hops. "At once? Only about as far as that stall," he says, pointing back towards the awning with its arrangement of bells. "But I can keep using it, so it's still faster than walking."

Then, as if tracking Deimos's increasingly heavy gaze on the boy, he scoffs out a laugh. "Are you being summoned?"

Erebos was not yet a master of geography, nor anything map associated, but he nodded just the same, accounting for Dantalion’s experience in such sojourns. “And then maybe you can do one to the desert!” If that Colt lady who once ran the rodeo ever got it up and running.

Dart particularities were something else though, and regardless of distance or hops, the youth was impressed just the same. Imagining being able to use it all the time, just in everyday tasks, was an inspiring thing, and he would’ve asked a whole host of other inquiries, save for the Ancient’s noticings and his father’s conversation ending. “Ah yeah, I better go. I bet we need to go beat something up.” Watching as Deimos did another nod and wave towards the Maverick, probably in appreciation of tending to said child’s musings and attention, the young Ignatius granted a bright grin to the Theocrat. “Thanks again! And I’ll send those letters!” He had some others to make anyway, and it would serve as some decent motivation to improving said penmanship and abilities, before he implemented his own dashing away, back towards the Sword.
