Sauntering into the Hanged Man, Vesper's eyes narrow for a moment as he takes in his surroundings; it's familiar to him for all the various memories he'd seen which had taken place here, the conversations he'd watched from the stars, the stolen moments he'd been witness to. Eventually, his gaze slips toward where Jack is sitting, and with a nod toward one of the waitresses indicating that yes, he would like something, he makes his way over.

Sliding into the chair opposite, Vesper leans comfortably back, stretching one of his long legs out beside the side before reaching for the little cup of toothpicks on the table and placing one in the corner of his mouth. While Safrin had been surprised to be called down by her son so quickly after having sent him out into the world, as he explained what he'd needed from her, the goddess had granted his request with nothing more than a knowing smile (read: odd paid 1500MP).

In retrospect, meeting at The Hanged Man probably wasn't the best idea given his recent dealings with its owner, aka the Doubletake, aka Queen of Torchline. It's a testament to Flora's success with the place that it had rolled from Jack's tongue before he could stop it, however, and given that he hasn't been close enough to her to realise what her 21-year-old mind has turned their previous meeting into... well, we'll see, won't we.

For now, at least, Jack - and the majority of his crew as well, in fairness - are taking up a lot of the establishment with their business, the captain sitting at his table with a foot propped on the edge of it and a glass of whiskey in his hands. This morning's meeting has proven without a doubt that he can't get a read on the snowy haired youth, and so instead Jack has his telepathic net spread wide towards the entrance of the bar, using other people to tell him when they see someone of Vesper's description.

And suddenly there he is, Jack making a point of finishing the conversation he's having (whispering, really, and it's to one of the waitresses), before he straightens back up to gaze across at him.

"Not gonna lie - I didn't actually expect to see you again," he says. Not true, but neither of them can tell that about each other, so... yeah.
