What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

The sun crept lower in the sky, and the Caretaker knew the opportunities for her searching, at least for today, were beginning to dwindle. Soon she’d have to either fly or skyboat her way back home, to look far less suspicious, return to her duties amidst the Celestine, and take chances later on. “Have you ever been here before?” She mustered to Rhiannon, glancing this way and that as she shielded her eyes from the wondrous glows and rays of the spring elements.
She hadn’t – at least not far enough down in the marketplace from the village itself. The stalls were a marvelous array of riches and goods, and she admired the shallow water coming in from the river itself – would’ve spent far more time occupying it with glances and studies, had other things not called to her attention. Hopefully it’d be easy to spot roses from these realms.

The day wore on, and Rhiannon and Lena ended up back in Sidhe Village, at the Bodega. While Rhiannon didn’t really think that a rose would blossom in the midst of the village, she had to admit that the region was wild enough that it could happen. And she wasn’t about to leave even one stone unturned - not if it meant that she could find the one thing that could save them all.
”No, this is my first time,” Rhiannon said as they strolled through the Bodega, her eyes peeled for any hint of a flower - though she did get distracted from time to time by the various goods on display. Lowering her voice, she leaned a bit closer. ”I wasn’t expecting so much… variety.”

“I’m sure the Greatwood enjoys surprising people,” Lena answered honestly, with a small grin. The Fae were well renowned for their stealthy, and capable, endeavors and merits, especially enthralled and combined with the labyrinthine quality to the forests and its enigmatic twists and turns. Her eyes flickered over stalls and kiosks, nodding her head politely to merchants, before the same gaze would wander around the forest-lined floor, hoping to catch a certain speck of rose petals and Vi’s stoic disposition. “They have quite a reputation, after all.”
And a much better one than Stormbreak, at the moment, though she wouldn’t care to admit that out loud. They were all trying to do their part – and each one of her steps was a little bit of sedition, and where she hoped to achieve something for the rest of Caido.

Rhiannon took in the sights of the stalls and kiosks, many of which were manned by Fae. At another time, perhaps she would return to the Bodega on a shopping trip, but today was not that day. Still, she had to admit that Lena was probably right. If there were this many hidden treasures just on her brief trip to the Greatwood, she had to imagine that there were other surprises to be discovered.
Like Vi’s Roses, for example. Rhiannon took a moment to consider what they would do if they actually found one. She’d wanted to bring one home to Deimos, but what if Lena wanted it for herself? Rhiannon knew nothing about the other woman and what she might be capable of. ”Well, I’ll certainly be back,” she said, distracted as she continued her search.

When, despite the many beautiful sights and sounds, nothing was yielded once more, Lena stifled the sigh threatening to collect in her lungs. Fortune wasn’t yet on their sides, but determination remained, and she’d hold that in her chest far longer than disappointment. “That should be a given. I don’t think we could ever see everything in one day.” And the Caretaker was quite curious about the other aspects – the stories, the myths, the legends, from everything about the tulmhainar, to Fae introspections and sagacities.
The lack of flowers kept resting in the back of her mind though. “On to the next? I can probably search one more area today before I have to return.” To duties and Celestine measures. “And then try again, later,” she winked, giving a slight smile. At the very least they could continue their journey further into the village, and towards Undercroft parameters.
