What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

After meeting with Safrin, Sah had gone straight to the closest blacksmith and asked if he could borrow their forge. It was one that he'd frequented in the past for his projects so the man was willing to let him take the second bench and get to work. He'd trade furs and meat for the supplies later, as part of their usual deal.
Grabbing paper, the Wild Thunder began to sketch out possible designs. Stones could be dropped so jewelry was probably for the best. A hand went to his neck as he hummed in thought. Necklaces would be good. He could offer them to the twins for whichever preferred that matter, and then, in his next quest, go with something else.

On another rare occasion that Deimos could be home and not plotting with other leaders or powerful individuals, he swept through the Halo grounds and roads with intent and purpose. There were a few errands to run, then he’d have a brief opportunity to patrol, spar with the rest of the soldiers, and probably get back to the Ignatius threshold with an opportunity to tackle the mounds of paperwork Evie had left aside for him –
As he swept past the blacksmiths, his scrutinizing glance caught Sah – and curious to a fault (because he figured the Wild Thunder could simply create his own items out of thin air), his rumble persisted through the wake as he stopped at the next stall over, snagging at a few items for groceries. “Sah – working on anything in particular?”

Sah glanced up at the sound of footsteps, smiling slightly when he recognized Deimos. "Yes. I need to make two necklaces for a quest for Safrin. "It's going to be a pair, one for me and one for one of the twins." Sah went on to exchange the nature of his quest, "An emergency one-use teleporter of sorts that will either bring them to me or vice versa. I'm not sure which. As soon as I finish this quest, I'm going back to Safrin to start it all over again for the second twin." As much as he wished they would be long-term items or that he could complete both at once, it simply wasn't possible. The kind of power that he was requesting understandably required more effort.
The Wild Thunder spun his piece of paper so that the Sword could see the various designs that he'd sketched out. Some depicted stars and moons, others wolves, and a few were simply blank ovals. "I'm trying to decide what to make the pendants look like." A simple chain necklace wouldn't do. Sah started pulling out various metal scraps and lining them up beside the paper. "I'm thinking gold?" He hadn't meant to spring his design brainstorm on Deimos beyond describing his quest but the words just tumbled out.

Bagging the bakery contents and thanking the merchant, his brows arched thereafter at Sah’s intentions behind the items, both present and future. An understandable notion, given everything that had happened to Luka. Whether not anything could’ve been done in the face of Dahlia went unsaid; the Sword had his own machinations to work through on those fronts. “Quite a project,” but worth the efforts – if it saved them.
Head tilting, he made his way over, shuffling the bag into the crook of his arm while he studied the offered paper; depictions of wolves, moons, and stars - nothing screaming either of the twins to him. But perhaps he didn't know them well enough. “Did you ask them?” Meaning Soleil and Luka specifically; figuring their preferences might matter, and uncertain whether or not they even knew about their father’s undertaking.

"Certainly." It was the most important set of quests that Sah had ever undertaken. Even if it was only mildly effective in the end, if it saved the lives of his children, it'd be worth it.
Sah shook his head, "No. I want them to be a surprise. The second round will be rings, so I was planning to present both options and let the twins choose whichever one they prefer." The surprise was in case something went wrong, so he didn't get their hopes up. The intention behind the design choice was to ensure that it was obvious which twin was in need without the hybrid having to stop and check the design on the item. A necklace versus a ring could be distinguished far more quickly.
"Though you're right that I should personalize them. Soleil will likely prefer a necklace and Luka, a ring." Sah turned the paper around and suddenlty it came to him. He drew a new necklace design this time, where the pendant had a small sun on it. He wrote 'gold' next to it.
Luka's came just as easily. A ring with depictions of the wind stretched across it. Next to the design, he wrote 'silver'. "Do you think these designs will work? It's based on their childhood nicknames, Little Sun and Little Breeze." They may be his children, and the Wild Thunder liked to think he knew them well, but a second opinion was always nice.

His brows furrowed, though it wasn’t out of any particular emotion, merely listening to the notions as they unfurled and unraveled. “I see.” While he’d made surprise items in the past, like engagement rings, they’d also been discussed beforehand – and the Sword hoped that while Sah certainly had his thoughts in order about protecting his loved ones, that they’d also been considered in the exchange.
He watched as the paper was turned around and more portions were being pieced together, wondering if he should be on his way so that Sah could continue working on the project. But then more inquiries were asked, and his eyes went to the parchment again, and the detailed designs beginning to take shape. “Probably. Maybe you could put other things they like within them as well?” Unless both preferred the simpler outlines – but Deimos always liked to make the etchings personalized amidst hordes of designations. Like Soleil's wild, adventurous spirit. Luka's forthright, honest personality. One down to the earth, the other aiming for the skies.

Sah let out a hum as he considered Deimos' idea. "I think if the twins decide that they want permanent ones, I'll add more designs with their input. For these one-use ones, I think I'll go simple."
With the designs finalized, the hybrid was at a crossroads. Which item did he make first? He couldn't possibly choose between his twins, and it'd be impossible to predict who the Family would target first. They could go after Luka to finish the job. The mere idea of which had Sah wincing. Or they might expect Sah to predict that and instead go after Soleil. Taking a piece of metal with one smooth side and one texture, he assigned a side to each twin and with a quick prayer, flipped it. Landing with the textured side up meant that Soleil's necklace would be created first.
After saying goodbye to Deimos, the Wild Thunder focused on his task. Using gold, his design, and occasional assistance from the blacksmith, two identical necklaces were forged. Each with a small sun on them. After one last quality check, Sah was satisfied and ready to move onto the second stage of his quest.
