After a visit with Kiada, the Sword figured he could carve a quest requirement out of the regional aspects, and quick, sharp glances towards the Bone Bridges didn’t bear too many rogue afterthoughts. They weren’t as forbearing or detrimental to memories; significant in places where they’d once plotted courses and run through scenarios, but nothing binding him to pain, despair, or haunting melancholy the way multitudes of the Grounds did.
But instead of wandering amidst the columns themselves, he roamed beneath, selecting a patch of land connecting the sturdy skeletons together, until he reached a point where the moon glistened amidst the quiet and sullen current. The steady, stalwart expanse of the starlight reflecting back was all he needed, and amidst the full lunar presence reigning down, and giving enough ample light to not even require the alteration of his eyesight, he snagged at his armor.
The leviathan scaled portions were settled easily into the slide of the embankment, and rather than run the risk of losing it to the idle span of water, he held it in place, watching as the lightweight depictions absorbed and floated.

He had his own reasons for moving through the Hollowed Grounds on the business of a demigod rather than a ruler. Seeking out the sickly violet tinge to its flowers and beasts and identifying where and how far the corruption had spread, Hadama traveled amidst the islands that the region had become. He was swifter in his Mer form and, in truth, simply more comfortable. Beneath the bright moon and twinkling stars he dove deep to ascertain the health of the waters and rose to swim along the surface, studying the shorelines with thoughtful eyes until he came to the Bone Bridges.
And in the starlight, caught sight of an unexpected if familiar silhouette against the night. He dove to cross the distance with the ripple of wide wings that bore galaxies within their span, rising once more once he was within comfortable speaking distance. "Deimos. Good evening." He swam closer at a more sedate pace, emerald eyes seeking the beauty of the armor currently floating in the water. A strange activity to find anyone engaged in... unless a god was involved. This was Caido, after all.
Neverthless, he tilted his head at the leviathan scale in silent inquiry rather than assuming. Out loud, he asked: "How are you? And your family?"

If he were not so readily alert and focused, he might have missed the arrival of Hadama altogether; as it was, his eyes still widened, not expecting the Torchline ruler to be here. Which was probably the same case in his existence amidst the Grounds instead of Halo, but that was neither here nor there. His brows arched considerably, before going back to their usual furrowed or stoic countenance, watching as the man swam closer, contemplating a horde of inquiries likely to be launched his way.
Keeping the armor still amidst the roll of the currents, he tilted his head. “Evening,” giving no explanation yet – but perhaps the Safrin demigod would already have the notions in place. “We are all well.” Pausing, then repositioning his arm to curtail a further motion amidst the idle waves, he unfurled a long breath. “I wanted to upgrade my armor, in case of -,” well, anything going on in Starfall, pending a whole multitude of pragmatic solutions, so he shrugged that away. “Sah and I made some more enhanced gas masks as well.”

There was something to be said for both men being far from their respective homes on such a beautiful night, but Hadama held to his courtesy before allowing free reign of his curiosity. He tilted his head in gratitude to hear that all of the Ignatius family was well, his own stoic countenance growing a few shades lighter at the welcome news.
He did not need to put his question into words; his fellow follower of Safrin offered explanation of the task and the Tidebreaker nodded gravely in understanding of what sorts of 'cases' might well be in their near futures. "Wise, to make more masks. I have spoken to Sah and Noah about a foray of our own soon." To give some a chance to rest and tend to their regions while others were given an opportunity to do their part and prove their resolve. "I am also seeking to improve myself. To increase the damage my gravity attack can do." He swam closer, enough to examine the armor and admire the patterns in its scales. "May I ask what task you are undertaking tonight?" And he looked up to the Warden with a lift of his brow in silent offer of any assistance a Mer might be able to give in a quest that involved water.

Holding the armor steady as the water flowed in and around the leviathan scaled quarters, his brows furrowed only slightly at the news of Noah’s pending involvement. He hadn’t heard of such things – but then again, maybe he wasn’t privy to all the insights any longer, based on how things had forged along between them. Hopefully the Forsaken had some endeavors up his sleeve that didn’t maim his own allies; but the Tidebreaker likely knew him well enough to heed the warnings beforehand.
So he nodded just the same, contorting those machinations back into his mind for later. “Mm. I gave them to Sah, so he should have them ready when you all head out.” That Hadama was seeking to improve himself in the interim didn’t surprise the Sword either – not with everything culminating around shoulders and mantles. “I need to submerge it in water with starlight reflected in it,” hence the very careful ministrations along his hands. “What do you need to do for your damage increase?” At some point Deimos would likely need to do something similar with his Air – but listened and inquired just the same.

At hearing that Sah had taken possession of the masks, Hadama nodded his head in gratitude. The diligent hunter could be relied upon to bring them when the time came. As for Noah, the lessons had been learned in previous forays and they could only hope that the same mistakes would not be made again.
Looking to the armor, Hadama admired its elegant lines of it and the starlight that reflected from the thin layer of water that lapped over its surface. It was easy enough to guess who had given Deimos such a task, even if they were not already known to each other as the goddess's followers. "I need to use natural gravity to make something easier. Or better. Or else use it to make something worse." He tilted his head in consideration at the armor, a spark of consideration in his eyes as he raised his gaze to the Resurrected Sword. "I do not know if letting your armor sink deeper into the water would count as 'better' or 'worse' for your purposes?" Though with both men having shifts suited to diving deep, it would at least not cause irreparable loss.

He listened, eyes flickering back and forth from the armor and to Hadama, brow arching within the considerations. It went without saying that he’d be able to retrieve the scaled portions back should anything go awry; it would just require finessing of either his magic, swimming abilities, or shifted potentials. Snorting, because he wasn’t certain of the answer either, he shrugged his shoulders; not wanting to seem unbothered by the potentials, but understanding the probability of it disappearing was minimal. “You can try it. Perhaps it will make my efforts easier,” and therefore better. Deimos didn’t typically receive those merits.
Granting a small, half-smile, he let go of the leviathan piece, watching as it casually floated along the surface again, before directing his attention back to the Tidebreaker, waiting for some motion across the current.

"Thank you." Perhaps it would do for helping to fully submerging the armor in the starlit waters. A hope that Hadama held to as he met Deimos's smile with a flicker of his own in gratitude for the opportunity to fulfill his own task. Then the merman slipped beneath the water's surface and shifted to his larger manta form, circling beneath the leviathan scale a few times before diving down with a powerful surge of his wings. He twisted in a tight spiral around his centerline as he did so, shifting back to his smaller mer form so that the water rushed in to fill the now-empty space left behind as the greater portion of his mash compacted down into brown skin and sleek, dark muscle.
The Leviathan's remains were drawn down with it and caught in the broad eddy of Hadama's path, gravity overcoming buoyancy until the armor was fully beneath the surface and the air forced out from any crevices that might have held it. He arced out from beneath it and swam up from the side to check on its progress, nodding once in satisfaction as it continued to sink slowly under its own weight. He allowed it to come to a gentle rest upon the bottom of the dark waters before collecting it and swimming for the surface once more to return it to the man who waited in the waters above.
"It is done. I hope the rest of your tasks are as peaceful." Words spoken with a solemn inclination of sincerity as he passed the armor back to its owner, but with a wry, tired ghost of a smile of his own. Knowing full well that in days like these, peace was a precious commodity that could be snatched away without warning.

Deimos watched once more, with all the incantations pulsing through his veins, should anything require them. Brow arched, he watched the surge of movements, motions, shifting, and maneuvering as the armor began to sink, resting at the bottom of the churning depths and fathoms.
When nothing seemed to happen, other than the starlight and depths surrounding and pervading, the task was completed – no harm, no foul – and the armor returned. “Thank you,” he obliged with that stoic gratitude, checking it over as he lifted it from the water. Nothing worse for wear. Nothing damaged. “Mm. Likewise for you as well.” Peace and repose wasn’t something they had multitudes of nowadays – and at least they’d be able to return to their separate parties, homelands, and regions with some multitudes completed, finished, and solidified for the future.
