What do you get when two ruthless assassins raise their daughter travelling through the wildest reaches of Caido? Take one look at Theea and you'll get a pretty good idea. Cheerful and tenacious in equal measure, and curious beyond all else, she began her journey on a mission to find those her mother once called family. And find them she did, soon rubbing elbows with demigods, leaders and even ghosts from the past. Her determination is resolute, her thirst for knowledge unmatched. We can't wait to see where her next adventure takes her!
Congratulations, Theea!

Heaving a great sigh of content, Maea eased herself into the hot spring. Her body felt well and truly worn from the spar, andn the relaxation that followed was of the kind that felt well earned, weariness from labor and a fun time.
"We should do this more often," she murmured, head lolling languidly aside so that she could look at Sah. "How've you been? Feels like it's been a while since we actually talked."
She'd seen him more often in a shift, which offered little chance of catching up on personal experiences, with her lack of an Attuned bond. This chance to spend some time was particularly welcome, and so she resisted the pull to fall asleep. Whether the Halovian intended to bathe or not, she was happy to have his company.
Sah was eager to join Maea in the springs, but first, there was something that he needed to do. As he spoke, he sat down near the edge of the water, pulling a piece of paper out of his bag and setting it on a dry patch of stone. On it was a sketched design of a robe, including dimensions and other key details he needed to consider. "We really should. I've been alright. A lot has happened, and more is on the horizon. I'll be heading to an infamous island soon." Sah would likely need to pack for Starfall as soon as he got home. The thought was sobering, but he pushed his anxiety down for now.
"How have you been? Any progress with the Greatwood?" It certainly was nice to actually speak with his friend for once. There was certainly enjoyment in the ease of spending time together while shifted. But it wasn't the same. The hybrid was actually glad to have run into the Ancient today. He'd been planning to create the robe at home and send it along, but Sah could just do it now and spare them both the time. Putting his hands together, the hybrid called forth his magic, glancing at his notes to ensure that he followed them. Weaving together the elements, a garment formed in his hands. When it was done, Sah held it up for Maea to see with a grin. "Your request. It'll protect whatever clothes you wear under from burning."

Twisting around onto her belly, Maea nestled her head on the cusion of her arms while she watched him work. The smile on her lips faltered at the news that he would be joining the expedition; that made two of her friends at risk of never coming home. "I see... you're going, too. Hadama told me about what awaits... Be careful, yeah? Nothing is more important than coming back home again." Win or lose, as long as they stayed alive there would be more chances. And it wasn't as though they were helpless. It felt incredibly good to be able to offer some good news. "Yes, actually! Quite recently, too. I found an interesting plant specimen... a friend of mine offered to bring it north, for your greenhouses. We thought it might brighten things up for all of you. So, as you can imagine, I've been busy, in a good way. Lots of forest walks does wonder for the mind."
Following with interest as Sah brought out the sketch, she only needed a quick glance to confirm that it was everything she had requested. Breathless with mingled awe and envy as the garment was spun into being, she let out a heartfelt sigh as he held it up for inspection. A beautiful robe, it shimmered like silk in the dim light of the cavern. Reversible, one side was a deep cherry red with gold details while the other was of a pale ivory, unadorned and elegant in its simplicity. She knew it would fit without even trying it on, and from now on she wouldn't have to worry about her clothes while fighting or traveling across the Climb.
"It's perfect," came her verdict. "You're a marvel, I couldn't have made it better myself. Thank you, Sah." She couldn't take her eyes off the robe. The more she looked, the more she adored the details; an excited splashing of feet behind her spoke volumes of her appreciation.
"I will." Sah had a family to go home to. He would do everything in his power to survive. He listened as he worked, a wide grin stretching across his face as he caught onto Maea's implications, "That's excellent!"
His ears turned a faint pink at the phrase. No one had ever called a 'marvel' before. "Ah. Thanks. I'm glad that you like it." He gently folded the robe and crafting a small bag, placed it within for safekeeping. It'd stay dry on the rocks until Maea was ready to go home.
With his task complete, Sah took off his shoes and slipped into the water. He let out a quiet sigh of contentment as the warmth of the water sunk into his bones. There truly was nothing like soaking in a hot spring. The loss of the ones in Halo was a tragedy. One that would soon be fixed, but a loss nonetheless.

With the training done and businesses taken care of, all that remained was to enjoy the rare chance to relax. Tipping her head back to let the waters soak through her hair and scalp, Maea hummed a wordless tune to herself for no reason other than it felt good. As the water rippled and swelled to accommodate the Wild Thunder, she rolled aside to look at him - somewhat confused by how little of a reaction she had to his shirtless state. Apparently there was a profound difference between Sah and Liam - one she might have to examine more closely one of these days.
"Today has been a good day," she murmured eventually. Inviting some small talk while they soaked, the topics flew far and wide, of little importance - places they'd been to, little chores yet to be done, and plenty of comfortable silence in between. By the time her fingers had wrinkled and it was time to get out and head off, Maea felt like she both knew him more and less than before; which really only meant they should do this again sometime.
