"Are there any Ludos about?" Mort called sweetly, in a voice that only his raggedy counterpart would be able to hear.

Thanks to the falling snow and the density of the woods, everything was muted and wondrous in its silence. Though the god did not necessarily need to draw breath, nor his heart to pump, still he could hear the muscle pounding out a calming rhythm inside of himself, and as he stretched out his arms, fingertips brushing against the trees, the wub-THUMP of his lifeforce reverberated throughout Ludo's Wood.

There were Ludos everywhere - at least that was the impression that the raggedy god wanted to give, and small wisps of fabric would appear to rush through the treeline towards Mort all at once.

Eventually they collided with one another, tangling up into a ball before the God of Death and pop!ping into existence properly. Spending time it did not need to adjust the porcelain mask about its face, Ludo gazed up at Mort with a bright smile.

"Hello!" it said. "Did you see the puppet show at Leafchange? I was Safrin!"
