He felt a wicked little grin spread across his lips. ”I like games, Princess. Always happy to play with you.” He winked at her. Then, without another word, he took off at a run deeper into the maze; he didn’t know much about this place, but he figured that the queen was far more familiar with it, so he wanted to take advantage of that whole head start she was offering him while it lasted. And if she was fucking with him, well, he probably deserved a little bit of that. Besides, fucking was fun. Time to see if Wessex was a good playmate.
