Many of them sing to Safrin as well to try and keep her away from bringing the night.” She pauses, glancing over to him to see how he understands the legend — nothing more than an amused tale, but sometimes that’s all anyone ever needed. “They make baskets, nets, fishing nets… Anything really, to celebrate it.” Pausing by one of the stalls she gestures to one gathering of people, working to put together vibrant nets and baskets all the same.
