Well this was certainly a place she’d never seen before. The surrounding areas she had glimpsed at, but this one seemed to be brimming and lively with people and
work, which was something that Rexanna found she craved. She wasn’t certain what she could do, other than basic house cleaning and maintenance, but she found interest in the way the ramshackle buildings were staged. It looked like a place where people came to sell their creations or even jobs, and as she walked down the main road, she found her sapphire gaze scanning
everything and drinking it up like a fish without water.
She made her way slowly, watchful and curious at
everything. Even the birds that flew overhead occasionally had sparked her interest. She didn’t know of the places currently running here, and she didn’t step foot in any of the buildings. Instead, she moved from building to building with curiosity and interest, wondering by chance what would go where, and what the world around them lacked. At least, it seemed, that her arrival was fairly new in comparison to what happened to the land, and that she wasn’t just intruding on a place already thriving.
This place, certainly, wasn’t that yet. Though she had seen a decent amount of people, she began to wonder what they did. Or if they were simply waiting for things to calm down before starting their own adventure here? She pondered the thoughts while she stared at a haphazard building that appeared to be on its last legs, looking at it but not entirely
looking at it.
