It's all gotten a bit ridiculous now, and while you know very little about fighting fires, you do know about saving animals. And grabbing at it as if it were some baseball or other sporting-sphere tossed into a crowd to be fought over is fairly ridiculous. But then, you're on fire, so you've got to deal with that first.
Using your earth magic to tug at the soft mossy and moist soil within the ground, you try and smother that which lingers on you.
"Given its elemental nature, it might be plausible that its life is tied to those flames. If you want to save it, you might rethink what you're doing." Or, think at all. "Communicating with each other rather than running around and obfuscating efforts might prove useful as well."
You glance towards Kai and offer him a sooty smile. Turning towards the luxere you realize that it likely doesn't understand you, and so you try and soothe it in other ways: by creating the illusion of a wave of fire. You mean for it to splash over the creature that will likely be comforted in its own element. The ground beneath it hopefully licks happy flames that will make it feel grounded and less out of control with all these idiots around.
Oia offers commentary from the peanut gallery, and then uses mastered illusion to make a wave of fire wash over the luxere and then splash around its hooves to try and calm it down using its own element.
