Delphia nodded slowly, confirming what Maea said. As hard as it might be to hear that one's home was twisted beyond repair, it was not the worst fate. Caido was large, and there were many other places where people could exist and grow and live in peace, without the threat of spirits and creatures twisted by being left too long to stew amongst the dead; and vice versa. It is natural, an instinct, to sense where places are safe or not. Humans are not as intune with this as other creatures, and so it is not unusual to not understand these impulses.
